DEA Global Learning Charter
The DEA is a member of CfSA and is inviting associations to sign up to the DEA Global Learning Charter to show commitment to educating people about global issues such as poverty or climate change.
The Charter is being organised by DEA (www.dea.org.uk) which is seeking a wide range of signatories: NGOs, local authorities, business, trade unions, social enterprises, media organisations, schools, universities and other education bodies, faith groups.
It will be launched at a reception in parliament in the New Year and all signatory organisations will be invited. There will then be a range of activities including roundtables and practice sharing sessions to raise the profile and to share practice of the work that signatories are doing around educating about global issues.
I would encourage you to also sign the Charter – I attach a copy and the terms of reference. If you would like to sign up, or if you have any questions, please contact Max Hogg at DEA (email@example.com / 020 7922 7939)
