NATE - The Franco-British Council Short Story Competition 2009
This competition aims to encourage more students to learn French and about French culture and is an opportunity for Francophiles to write a 1,500 word story about France, French people or any other topic or setting French-related.
The competition is divided in two categories, one for secondary school students and one for undergraduates between the ages of 16 and 25. 1st prize for the undergraduates is 2 Eurostar return tickets to Paris and £100 spending money and their story will be published in Prospect magazine. 1st prize for the secondary school students is £100 spending money. 2nd place prize is £75 and 3rd place is £50.
